      Great wee bike

My first e-bike and I’m very happy with it, but I don’t really understand why I still need to peddle on cruise control. Peddling defeats the purpose of cruise control control.

      Great foldable e-bike for commuting

I bought this bike for my 6-mile commute (each way) after struggling to cycle to work five days a week, it's pretty hilly. I decided on a folding one so I could store it securely in my office. The reviews on this bike pretty much sealed the deal and are accurate. I tried the Halfords Carrera model (for free), which is very similar in spec to this one to be sure I was happy with a folding e-bike, and make sure I didn't have any unrealistic expectations of one. I loved it! So I bought this one because it a) it looked nicer, b) reviews were better, c) staying in it's folded position seemed to be a problem for the Halfords model but not this one. The only thing I was wary of was the limited number of gears compared to a non-folding bike, but I just relax and take it easy on any longer flat or downhill sections as I know I am much quicker getting up the hills, so my commute overall is shorter, and less sweaty and tiring. You can easily switch between the levels of assistance and turn it right down to 0 for normal bike mode when you don't need assistance. Last week I got three out-and-backs out of it, by adjusting the assistance as required.
It folds up and down very easily and quickly, rides nicely, bike lights work great.
It is delivered mostly put together, you have to attach a few bits like the wheels, light, bells, and the mudguards. Putting the mudguards on is very fiddly and requires two people. The instructions can be found on the e-go website, but are basic. It wouldn't be hard to someone to make a slightly more detailed step-by-step guide! If that would be a struggle for you, someone at a bike shop would easily be able to do it.
      Highly recommend.

Purchased not realising it needs some assembly

This is an excellent easy folding e bike it’s sturdy and smart looking. However it does not come fully assembled requires two people with patience to fit the mudguards and rack I can’t fault the bike which folds easily and lifts into motorhome/ car with little effort.

Excellent Bike and Service...........so good we bought one for my wife!

      Excellent piece of kit

I did lots of research on electric bikes and after reading reviews decided on ego kite +.
The reviews were right. This is a well designed bike and I have cycled over 200 km now without any issues . I have used it off road and it performs well with the wider tyre on the lite plus . It didn’t come with instructions but after a phone call it arrived by email 10 mins later . Customer service very good . No hesitation in recommending this bike , really impressed with it and the support .

A Very Pleased 68 Year Old!

I did a lot of research before I decided upon the E-Go Lite+.
I chose it because it can be used as a normal seven speed bike, so I can get as much or as little exercise as I want!
It folds for when I will be taking it on caravan trips, and it's not to heavy, making it manageable when loading in my car, and all for what I consider to be a very reasonable price.
I also think the Satin Black colour I chose looks really good.
I've had a few trips out now, and find it very enjoyable to ride, the assistance from the motor is really good on hills and the disk brakes perform well.
I've also had excellent service via online chats with the folks at the Eco Bike Co.
Therefore I highly recommend both the bike and the company.

      Great Experience

First 50km done and have been enjoying riding the e-go lite+. Great for cruising and also handles hills well. Quality seems good and bike arrived pretty much ready to go. Only bad point is that the rear light isn't working on arrival, as its only a battery operated one It can be cheaply replaced.

Hesitant lady who never really rides a bike, success

My wife can count on one hand she says the number of times she has ridden a bike in her life!
I ordered an E-Go Lite+ for me first with a view to her giving it a go. She was adamant she wasn’t going to have a bike without riding one first. This is a bit difficult in the current climate. I did a lot of research before choosing the E-Go as I wanted something light enough to lift in and out of the Motorhome but big enough to be easy to ride without trying to break the bank. The Ego seemed to be the closest fit to our needs. I ordered one for me first. Assembly was straight forward enough, mudguard brackets are a bit springy and need a bit of effort to fix but it’s not hard. I gave it a quick blast around the block testing the basics like being able to ride without power assist which is important if you are out and end up with a flat battery. This was just as easy as any none powered bike so a good tick there. It handled the steepish hill we live at the top of on level 3 easy enough. My slightly hesitant wife then rode it around the block a couple of times and the smiles said it all as I watched her ride up the hill on level 3 she said and said she would like one so I ordered another one. Unfortunately bad things happen and when the second one arrived it was in a bad way, probably down to delivery mishandling. The team at Eco Bike responded to the photographs I sent and although I tried to get it sorted, it was too damaged for me to fix, another bike was sorted as a replacement. Unfortunately it didn’t arrive in time for our first weekend away in the Motorhome. Not a problem we had a spare adult mountain bike and with my wife riding the E-Go and me on the leg powered mountain bike, we did a 10 mile circuit from the site and my wife enjoyed it and said without the E-Go she would never consider going out on a bike certainly not over that kind of distance. She mainly only used levels 1-3 with the occasional boost to 4 on some steeper bits, about quarter of the battery life used by time we got back to site. Basically a success for getting my wife out on a bike she is happy to use and wants to use it more, thanks Eco and E-Go. Looking forward to being able to keep up with her a bit easier on my own E-Go on next trip :-)
The one downside is that the LCD display refuses to change from kph to mph despite following various instructions both supplied with the bike and via the online chat with Eco. The second bike has the same problem so I suspect it is not actually possible to change. It’s more of an irritant than being anything terminal, otherwise happy so far with the bike and looking forward to getting many more miles on it, or should that be kilometres :-)
