What is the difference between EAPC Moped Style Electric Bikes and e-Mopeds?

If you can ride a standard petrol moped you can ride an E-Moped. The same checks apply, which means you will require a CBT or a driving license before February 2001.

An EAPC Moped Style Electric bike can be ridden if you’re 14 or over, as long as it meets certain requirements. These electric bikes are known as ‘electrically assisted pedal cycles’ (EAPCs). You do not need a licence to ride one and it does not need to be registered, taxed or insured.

How do Electric Mopeds save you money?

Electric mopeds cost significantly less than regular cars, making them much more accessible to those who don’t have thousands to spend on a car. Plus, we offer financing options that make it even easier for customers to get their hands on one without having to break the bank.

Since electric mopeds don’t require fuel or oil, they cost significantly less to maintain over time than traditional vehicles like gas-powered motorcycles and cars. You won’t need to worry about changing your oil or buying expensive gasoline, making them an incredibly cost-effective option for daily commuting or running errands around town. Additionally, electric mopeds only require basic maintenance like cleaning and tire inflations every now and then—so you won’t have to spend hundreds of pounds each year on upkeep!
