E-Go Lite+ Folding Electric Bike 250W

This is a great bike for commuting. You can put it on a train and cycle easily to work. You can also put it in the back of a car or taxi if you get stuck. I use the bike on the train and then cycle up to work. It’s really efficient and the battery life is good. It also is easy to store when folded down. The only issue is that it needs a lot of servicing as it’s got delicate features. I took it to a local bike repair shop for a tyre puncture and they said I couldn’t leave it over night as the battery is not certified yet. Other than that - it’s been fabulous!

Not the greatest e-bike out there.
Heavier than I thought it would be and weight seems to be all at the rear, keep that in mind when lifting up (unfolded)
I find the folding of the bike quite awkward, handle bar should fold the other way in my opinion.
The motor lacks in effort until you have reached a minimum of 9mph, other ebikes I have own reach 15mph a lot faster, this seems to struggle and takes its time (I weight 85 kg)
Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this bike.
Looks great, love the battery in the seat post, frame seems very sturdy.

Loving my Ego Bike. Nippy little mover that gets me over the hills and folds easily to take with me in car. Still haven’t managed to fit the back mudguard as it is tricky. Good Customerservice too thanks! Would recommend to anyone contemplating an ebike without too much expenditure.

My first e-bike and I’m very happy with it,.

I bought this bike for my 6-mile commute (each way) after struggling to cycle to work five days a week, it's pretty hilly. I decided on a folding one so I could store it securely in my office. The reviews on this bike pretty much sealed the deal and are accurate. I tried the Halfords Carrera model (for free), which is very similar in spec to this one to be sure I was happy with a folding e-bike, and make sure I didn't have any unrealistic expectations of one. I loved it! So I bought this one because it a) it looked nicer, b) reviews were better, c) staying in it's folded position seemed to be a problem for the Halfords model but not this one. The only thing I was wary of was the limited number of gears compared to a non-folding bike, but I just relax and take it easy on any longer flat or downhill sections as I know I am much quicker getting up the hills, so my commute overall is shorter, and less sweaty and tiring. You can easily switch between the levels of assistance and turn it right down to 0 for normal bike mode when you don't need assistance. Last week I got three out-and-backs out of it, by adjusting the assistance as required.
It folds up and down very easily and quickly, rides nicely, bike lights work great.
It is delivered mostly put together, you have to attach a few bits like the wheels, light, bells, and the mudguards. Putting the mudguards on is very fiddly and requires two people. The instructions can be found on the e-go website, but are basic. It wouldn't be hard to someone to make a slightly more detailed step-by-step guide! If that would be a struggle for you, someone at a bike shop would easily be able to do it.
