Avaris 2.3 Electric Road Bike 250W

Iv been very happy with my Avaris, had it over 12 months now battery life really good, added a few mods, better tyres but overall really good, don't buy from ecobike though, bike had slight handle bar wrap damage, so to save them having to exchange bike, I accepted £50 refund but never recieved, really bad service

Recieved bike in good order. Quality is good, however as im old school and my last bike is 30 years old ,the instructions suplied assume we all know how to adjust modern developed bikes and i nearly damaged mine trying to adjust handlebars. I had to go onto utube to find out as instructions did not meantion how to do it.
Also very vague on controls for electric and gears.
Other than that, its a good bike but havnt been out with it, since its been foul weather since i got it.

Will do a review when I receive bike feeling a bit annoyed

Excellent service from the eco team unfortunately there was a problem with the bike The front wheel wouldn't spin due to the spoks been loose Apart from that it's a excellent product

Last Oct 20, I fell very ill with what was thought to be Long Covid & after suffering until Apr 21 this year, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Prior to illness I was extremely fit and very active, enjoying cycling up cheddar gorge with my son at weekends. Literally overnight I struggled to walk only for only 10 mins a day and found looking at my carbon fibre road bike sat in the garage was not good for my mental health, so reluctantly sold it. Time passed & until recently now bringing my daily walk to 34 mins, I wondered if an electric bike would assist me getting back on a bike without worrying about being too fatigued so after lots of research settled on buying the Avaris 2.3 Road Bike which was within my price bracket of affordability. The bike arrived 2wks ago and its been so good for me both mentally and physically, literally a 'game changer'. It has provided me with the confidence to enjoy riding a bike again and what I really like is that I am peddling all the time and can change the assistance if peddling is getting too easy or too difficult, which is assisting in my recovery. I have been on my new Avaris road bike every day starting with 10mins and have now gradually increased this to 14 mins where I have achieved 6km with hills. There is no way I could of achieved this on a normal road bike, but the assisted motor going either uphill or against wind is incredible. I cannot wait to the time comes when I can enjoy a 2-3 hour bike ride with my family and not worry about fatigue. Whilst this bike forms a part of my recovery, it's worth every penny - simply outstanding. The bike looks slick and gear changes smooth, electric assist control very easy to operate; I would very much recommend this bike to anyone.

This is my first venture into E Bikes and I have to say I am left very impressed. The Eco Bike co were brilliant to deal with and I was left feeling supported throughout the process.

In relation to the bike itself, it's an impressive bit of kit for the money. As a commuter bike, for me it offers the capability of my road bike and the ease of use you would expect from an E Bike.

My only negative I have is I feel it runs out of gears very quickly. I can easily pull away on the highest gear which in my opinion you shouldn't be able to do on a road style bike. This means that when you are on a flat and don't need the motor you can't go fast at all.

That said as a commuter bike and as an all round bit of kit it is very good.
