Ampere Throttle

The bike arrived with throttle fitted for extra price (£50). However it was badly fitted and the function was limited by interference with the information monitor/controller. Having corrected the poor fitting, the unit works well but to be fair, it is only a start off assist.

It simply is an incredible machine. Well done.

At this stage I can only give the Thumb throttle 1 star. I have contacted Eco bikes regarding my recent purchase explaining the poor performance of the throttle but that was only yesterday. In fairness it might be faulty or perhaps I have fitted it incorrectly. However, there is only one lead to connect so it's unlikely a fitting issue. I will be happy to give 5 stars once I get a working throttle.

Easy to fit , most difficult bit is getting the bar grip off!

The Ampere throttle is great for starting off and to help with a hill start, but when the hill hets really steep and you need some help. It dies, well my does, maybe the motor is straining too much to give the throttle any more power. I have asked Ampere if I’m doing anything wrong and I get no answer. But overall it’s helpful if the bike motor is not straining. Perhaps mines faulty but unless I hear from Ampere, I will never know. Still glad I have it. So not 5 stars

The throttle is great however the bike is soo brilliant you don't really need it. The take up of the bike is smooth and powerful. The throttle is great snd if you are not so strong or have dodgy knees would be a godsend.
Fitting was super easy.

Great bike i can now cycle further and with the addition of a throttle Great up the steepest of hill's.

Not good front light doesn’t work nor does replacement
