MAHLE Smartbike® 
MAHLE Smartbike® electrical system for an absolute control of the bike and the surroundings. This is a German technology developed to merge the bike with its user. The iWoc joystick on the electric bike has buttons and LEDs indicating the basics: battery status and level of assistance. With this, the electrical system can work by itself. If you want to access the endless features provided by MAHLE MySmartbike, download and install the free APP in your IOS/Android device and link it to the bike through the Bluetooth module included in the joystick. From your personal cloud, you will be able to see all the information regarding your ebike tour: maximum, minimum and average speed, calories consumed, altitude, route difficulty, detailed times, etc.

 

 

How is the frame size measured?

Cancelling your order: If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@ecobikecompany.com or on 0333 050 3189. Please include your order number when contacting us. If your order has not yet left the manufacturer's warehouse, we should be able to stop it shipping, and issue you a refund immediately. Please note –  when returning a product, it must be returned in ‘as new’ condition, with all components included, in their original packaging. There will be a charge for the return. Returns - Changed your mind If you change your mind after buying from us and want a refund, you have up to 14 days to let us know and have the goods returned to us. You will need to return the product to us before we can provide a refund. Eco Bike Co. can help arrange the return for a charge of £50 - a courier will be sent to pick it up from you & return it to the manufacturer.   Please note –  the 14 days return period is to allow you to examine the goods as you would in a shop. To obtain a full refund, the goods must be returned in an “as new” condition with all components included in their original packaging. “As new” condition is defined as unridden. Initially no problems

I have not had an opportunity to use much so far I have done a couple of shortish commutes and tested it a bit off road. It is a smooth ride though I still need to get used to the Iwoc remote as I have pressed the assist button only for it to decrease power on a hill climb. Also not got to grips with the app yet and haven't been able to record my rides or make use of the map app. The bike was easy to assemble ( when it eventually arrived) and as I said it feels like a smooth ride but I need to use it more.

Excellent bike. Powerful and comfortable. Good on road and rural cycle tracks. Unfortunate delays with delivery because of Brexit, COVID, supply chain etc. but Jarred and Sasha helpful throughout. Legend company customer service also helpful and quick to reply to a minor query.

Excellent bike

I’m giving this bike 5 stars because I think it’s a good quality bike for a very good price. I bought the bike with the recomendation for 5’3” rider and for me it is slightly too big (I’m 5’31/2", 29” inside leg). Eco bike Co have now changed the recommendation. I’ve spent a few hours getting used to the feel of the gears and power assist and have found everything easy to manage. It handles rough roads as well as paved ones very well. To do the initial set up there is a toolkit provided, but extra screwdrivers and Allen keys will be needed if you want to change the angle of handlebars. I chose to retro-fit a throttle. You need 2 people to do this as it's a strenuous job getting the handlebar grips off in order to get the throttle on. Having a throttle makes the bike rideable for me even though it's a bit too big, as it helps with starting, especially on hills. If you are taller you could probably manage without one. The customer service from the Eco Bike Co has been great throughout the whole purchase process and they have kept me informed during delays in shipping.
