Ampere Deluxe Step Through Electric Bike

I highly recommend Ecobike for an excellent online retailer with great customer service. They helped me with my many queries and were really prompt with advice. The bike itself is exactly what I needed and despite build instructions that left a bit to be desired by Ampere Ecobike were quick to help me.

Only had the Ampere Deluxe a week or so and it’s been used every day. I have Pulmonary Fibrosis so the pedal assist is fantastic. The bike handles really well, stops on a sixpence and has a really comfortable riding position (I’m over 6ft). Being able to change the 5 assist levels to suit your needs is great. Lights and indicators make you feel safe that other road users have seen you. Battery lasts for miles. So far, very pleased

I love my empere bike, it's so easy to mount with the step through, easy to ride, no more struggling up hills, i love how i can choose when i need to use the assist or not, it has a good range battery and made up of parts you can trust making cycling enjoyable once again

Build quality, components and clever easy to use tech make this so easy to get along with. The ride is excellent and the ebike power up even the steepest hills excels. Very happy rider :-)

I carried out a lot of research before settling on my ampere. I’m so pleased with it, its quality is excellent and it’s exactly what I wanted. I’m 60 years old and thought my biking days were over after giving up my diamond back 15 years ago but this lovely step through e-bike has given me back my love of cycling.

I purchased am Ampere Deluxe Step Through Electric Bike 26 inch so that I could continue cycling after a hip replacement - sadly had to give up my electric mountain bike. I spent some time researching for something suitable as well as using various AI engines. Digesting all of this I decided on this Ampere model and have not been in any way disappointed with my choice. It’s very well built and engineered, has excellent torque to help you on hills and take offs and a very considerable ability to tailor the behaviour of the motor to your specific requirements. Indeed, I’ve found invaluable to be able to adjust the strength of each power setting and the responsiveness of the initial take off - super useful to protect my hip. Plus you can set the power to zero when cycling if you want a workout and adjust level 1 to a low power to just give you a slight assist. This is all built in to the new colour LCD controller. The instruction manual isn’t completely up to date but chat GTP can tell you all about it and offer advice. It’s also got powerful lights, indicators a bell and a very loud horn. All in all highly recommend. Very happy indeed.

All the staff are friendly and helpful, I requested a delivery date on a specific day to make sure I was in which was agreed to. I then received an email 3 days before hand while out saying the bike had been delivered and signed for by someone I didnt know. After much digging it turns out this was delivered information for someone elses bike. My bike was delivered on the requested day, however FEDEX dumped it on the doorstep without knocking or getting a signature as required. Not impressed when spending that much on a bike. Upon opening the box, the manual for building the bike was an old one and incorrect. Not very good from Ampere! I found an updated one on the Ampere website but that was wrong, eventually I was sent the correct manual which still appears to have errors and is difficult to follow as its poor worded and has small pictures. It really isnt good enough for this amount of money. While some of these problems are from Ampere and not Ecobike, ultimately they are selling the bikes. Also it was sold with a free phone holder which was missing upon delivery. The bike is good now its working however it could do with a higher top gear.

Having never considered buying a bike online before I was concerned about the process .
Delivery times,condition on delivery and so on,but I needn't of worried. Delivered on time and we'll packed so no damage. Relatively straightforward to assemble (35mins).So one hour from delivery I was off and away on my new ebike. Amazing. Well done Ecobikes.

I love my Ampere ebike. It is smooth, fast, elegant and suits my needs perfectly. I ride to work and also try and ride whenever I can for other excursions as well. I will be using it in France on holiday next week in The Loire Valley.
Delivery was fast and the staff were incredibly helpful when we were putting it together.
