This allows individuals to make tax and National Insurance contributions savings, reducing the overall cost of the bike.

4. Hire Agreement: The employee enters into a Hire Agreement with their employer, outlining the terms and conditions of the scheme, including the repayment period. During this time, the employee effectively hires the bike and equipment from their employer.

5. Commute to work: Once the bike and accessories are collected, employees can start enjoying their new mode of transportation. Cycling to work not only offers health and fitness benefits but also helps reduce carbon emissions and traffic congestion.

6. Ownership options: At the end of the salary sacrifice period, employees have the option to purchase the bike outright through a final payment.
