Ampere Deluxe Step Through Electric Bike

Very comfortable riding position, great uphill power assist and when required with the very efficient hydraulic brakes such an added bonus. All round a e-bike I would definitely recommend.

A very good e-bike in every respect

Im a mum of a 1 year old, 5' 7, not a mega cyclist, but keen to get into biking as we're about to get a motorhome and I expect Ill use it quite a bit. I was looking for a hybrid electric bike, something not too technical, but dutch style with a more comfortable ride than my moutain bike, which ive had for 8 years. My check list was, front & read suspension, comfy seat, not too heavy, low step through and assisted electric power. Every bike I looked at was minimum 3k and was far to technical. I spoke to Jarred over chat who did convince me this bike would be perfect for what I wanted. I was initially concerned that it had an 'own brand' battery, but so far I am so happy I took the risk.

It was relatively easy to put together. I put the front wheel on the wrong way round initially, so the break disc didnt engage, quickly resolved. I plan to put a baby seat on the pannier, which was included, as well as a decent stand and mud guards. The lights, front and back are great and the indicators were a total bonus. Over all Im very pleased. These bikes have great reviews and Im told being made in the Uk means they're very reactive with parts on the rare occasion.

If youre on the fence - just buy it! You wont regret it!

I'm in my late 60s and i haven't been a regular cyclist for many years so I was very nervous about spending a lot of money on a bike I wouldn't be able to ride. However, I loved this bike from the beginning. It's so smooth to ride even without assist. But when I do need a bit of help it's so easy to add some power! The gear changes are also very easy. I love the colour — I chose blue. As a bonus the seat is very comfy.

1st time out on it today ,I'm 5ft and this bike fits perfectly,it's well made and it handles our Essex roads well,and has lots of power to climb the hills which we have every way you go to get out of our village .I had a switch conversion kit which has served me well on my old bike but I now need a step through ,if today's ride is anything to go by we have made a brilliant choice

We bought this to replace a Specialized Como step through for my wife who is only 5’3” tall. The Como cost £1,000 more, was too big (even though we had the small version) and way too heavy.

The 26” wheels on the Ampere make this a perfect choice for smaller riders. My wife is a lot more confident riding this and, for the type of riding she will be doing, it is perfect. My only negative points are that the display can be difficult to read in sunlight and there are no bottle mount points because the battery is in the top of the down tube rather than underneath like many other bikes. Neither of those detract from this being a great bike.

All of the components are pretty much standard Shimano items so I don’t expect any problems maintaining and serving this myself. I paid extra for the 12 month extended warranty to give me cover for the motor, battery and electronics. Hopefully I won’t need it!!

I bought the Ampere Deluxe Step Through Electric Bike as a birthday present for my wife and she loves it. I opted for the Ampere as I wanted a bike that was UK manufactured and well-suited to tackling hilly, rural terrain. We’ve only had the bike a few weeks, but from initial impressions the build quality and ride is very good. The bike required some assembly out of the box (handle bars, pedals, front wheel etc.) which took about half an hour and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The bike took 12 days from order to delivery, the only downside was the delivery company delivered it to the wrong address, which was a bit of an inconvenience.

Absolutely loving my Ampere Deluxe. Finally a bike that’s comfortable for my 5ft 2 and a bit height . Can not wait to get it on the back of the motorhome and ride around the French villages on my next adventure. Only had it just over a week and already had so many comments on the stunning colour.

My bike arrived today, easy to assemble and the staff have been very helpful. Delighted with it.

The bike looks good and was relatively easy to assemble. I watched it being done!!! Due to not being well I have not had the opportunity to ride it yet but hope to do so in this coming week.
