Our fellow campers in France let us try their Fold and ls which made the decision to buy much easier.
We were struggling with our old manual bikes whuch were becoming a burden on the steep hills.
The staff at eco bike co. are friendly and efficient. The bikes arrived the next day and simple to complete the assembly. The two Folds fit snugly in the back of the car without having to put the rear seats down. It's now an absolute pleasure to enjoy a cycle ride and has given my partner renewed enthusiasm with the ease, comfort and peace of mind the ls brings.
The ratio of the shimano gearing together with the five power setting options provide all we need.

[****]. I was encouraged to buy this by a review from a lady even older than I am (I'm 75). My partner has tweaked it a bit. I now have chunky tyres and a more comfortable seat but love the really low stepover. With the battery removed I can just about lift the bike into my bike shed though it is a bit of a struggle. This is my 4th electric bike ( I started riding one in addition to an ordinary one at the end of last century) and the only thing I miss is the thumb throttle. My first three practice trips were on local country roads with gentle hills but a few days ago I did 11km through the forest behind my house tackling bumpy, stoney and grassy inclines. Brilliant.
I am in my eighties and needed a bike with low step through frame and as light as possible. This works for me however I replaced the saddle with a more comfortable one and had puncture resistance tyres fitted. However the saddle tube clamp slips despite being tightened so I have had to fit a hose clip on the tube which works, otherwise a good bike everything works well and I found it to be generally of sound construction.
