From the minute this bike arrived, I have had a smile on my face even just at the thought of riding it.
It is funky, smooth to ride, easy to operate and I joy to own. I’m looking forward to many happy years with my Wispa 705

Had a few questions. Easy to get in touch on their web page. Was answered honestly. Very helpful. My bike turned up early and was thrilled with it. Had a question once the bike arrived and was answered straight away. Glad I found this company.

I got my bike over the Christmas period and have so far been unable to give my bike a proper outing, except for a short "shake down ride" after assembling it to see if anything fell off. Nothing did.
That is until yesterday Feb 28th 25 the first really warm sunny day we've had. I rode it end to end up and down the Monsal Trail and I can say my bike performed perfectly helping me to cover the miles effortlessly. Thank you Mr Battery. As with any new bike my gear cable has stretched a little and will require adjusting slightly, also my gear change lever I just need to slacken it off and re-position it slightly.
Other than that, all ok. But let me say that I feel this is a man's bike, a bit of a brute. It's so well made it feels like a tank, as though it will last forever.
The downside is that it isn't light. I carry it folded in the back of my SUV and lifting it in and out I find it a bit of a challenge, but then I'm 9 months away from my 80th birthday and I'm not nearly as able as I used to be.So I suppose you young dudes will have no sweat whatever lifting yours in and out of your own motor. Happy trails.

It's light and it's sturdy. A very handy accessory.
Don't lay your bike down, don't lean it on a prickly hedge, put it on your kickstand.

Great customer service and communication, the bike arrived well packaged, clear instruction and was swiftly ready to ride. the bike rides well with easy pedal assist.

Very pleased with this ebike, pedaling is relatively easy and the motor is quiet. Steep hills need a bit of effort from the rider but hasn't defeated the ebike. The range in my case for the 14ah battery is 30 miles and recharge takes 5.5hrs
I find myself using levels 3-5 most of the time and find no benefit from 1-2 as you may as well have a conventional bike. Level 3 does 10mph. Level 4 does 12.5 and level 5 does 15.5 which is comfortable cruising but to avoid the motor assistance cutting in and out at top speeds then drop your gear to 6 and this prevents your efforts feeling like the brakes are coming on as the assistance limit is reached. If you adjust your gears accordingly then this ebike fulfills what you need within the laws of the UK at present. The ebike has quality parts and is well packed for delivery. Assembly is fairly easy and the mudguards, lights are a bonus. eco additional warranty and price for the bigger battery were a bonus. With the range I am getting then i would advise going for the bigger battery at the outset to prevent range anxiety.
Only niggle at this time is the brake pads rubbing the disk on the front wheel but i guess this will ease off in time.

The lock itself is sturdy and ergonomic, it fits over my helmet when I just throw it on one shoulder and sits comfortably over the top of my backpack without causing me any discomfort. The fabric cover over the chain is fantastic at protecting the bikes paint from scratching while you put the chain on. Barely any of the chain actually protrudes from the cover allowing for better security. All round a smashing lock.

It always makes me chuckle how many people this bike has amazed with its folding ability. For such a big bike it folds up fantastically especially for people like me who keeps it indoors. The ease of use and function of the electric motor is top of the range. If I could go back and choose another bike to get I would choose this one every time

We bought this to replace a Specialized Como step through for my wife who is only 5’3” tall. The Como cost £1,000 more, was too big (even though we had the small version) and way too heavy.

The 26” wheels on the Ampere make this a perfect choice for smaller riders. My wife is a lot more confident riding this and, for the type of riding she will be doing, it is perfect. My only negative points are that the display can be difficult to read in sunlight and there are no bottle mount points because the battery is in the top of the down tube rather than underneath like many other bikes. Neither of those detract from this being a great bike.

All of the components are pretty much standard Shimano items so I don’t expect any problems maintaining and serving this myself. I paid extra for the 12 month extended warranty to give me cover for the motor, battery and electronics. Hopefully I won’t need it!!

I bought the Ampere Deluxe Step Through Electric Bike as a birthday present for my wife and she loves it. I opted for the Ampere as I wanted a bike that was UK manufactured and well-suited to tackling hilly, rural terrain. We’ve only had the bike a few weeks, but from initial impressions the build quality and ride is very good. The bike required some assembly out of the box (handle bars, pedals, front wheel etc.) which took about half an hour and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The bike took 12 days from order to delivery, the only downside was the delivery company delivered it to the wrong address, which was a bit of an inconvenience.

Absolutely loving my Ampere Deluxe. Finally a bike that’s comfortable for my 5ft 2 and a bit height . Can not wait to get it on the back of the motorhome and ride around the French villages on my next adventure. Only had it just over a week and already had so many comments on the stunning colour.

My chain look solid and scary hope will be enough to keep away or keep to long to give up by cutting. The material is high reflective what give me extra visibility when I have on me.
I'm happy with and general supper happy with the bike I get from ecobike . Cycle every day and chain make me more secure all best !!!
