The 2026 Ampere X-Trail elevates your off-road adventures with premium, high-specification upgrades designed to conquer the trails with ultimate agility and control. At the heart of its performance is a high-powered 65Nm motor.

For 2026, the X-Trail introduces a massive weight-saving Suntour X1 32 Air Fork (120mm travel with lockout), which sheds roughly 1.5 kg compared to traditional coiled forks to provide superior, ultra-lightweight shock absorption on rough terrain.

The mechanical drivetrain has been significantly upgraded to the Shimano CUES 9-speed system, replacing the previous 7-speed setup for smoother, more precise gear transitions across steep gradients. To match this enhanced performance, the 2026 model now rides on premium Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres (2.25" width), offering exceptional traction and puncture resistance on varied landscapes. These high-performance components are anchored by ultra-responsive hydraulic disc brakes, 700mm oversized handlebars, and a central-mounted colour LCD display to keep you in total command of your ride.

The re-engineered 2026 frame features built-in front rack and basket mounting holes, allowing you to easily bolt on extra front accessories or cargo gear. TThe 2026 edition introduces a game-changing front-end upgrade with the all-black series Suntour X1 32 Air Fork, replacing the older, heavier coil suspension. By utilizing compressed air instead of a traditional heavy steel spring, this premium fork delivers a massive weight saving of roughly 1.5 kg, which drastically improves handling and responsiveness while reducing steering fatigue. Assembly
Ampere bikes come 85% assembled, this is to ensure the bike is safely transported to you. To complete assembly the handlebars need to be attached, the front wheel (& mudguard) need to be attached with the quick release, and the pedals need to be screwed on. If you have any questions please do reach out, we're happy to send a manual ahead of delivery for you to familiarise yourself with what's required for assembly. All tools are included with the bike.
Delivery and Returns
FREE DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS. Cancelling your order: If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@ecobikecompany.com or on 0333 050 3189. Please include your order number when contacting us. If your order has not yet left the manufacturer's warehouse, we should be able to stop it shipping, and issue you a refund immediately. Please note –  when returning a product, it must be returned in ‘as new’ condition, with all components included, in their original packaging. There will be a charge for the return. Returns - Changed your mind If you change your mind after buying from us and want a refund, you have up to 14 days to let us know and have the goods returned to us. You will need to return the product to us before we can provide a refund. Eco Bike Co. can help arrange the return for a charge of £50 - a courier will be sent to pick it up from you & return it to the manufacturer.   Please note –  the 14 days return period is to allow you to examine the goods as you would in a shop. To obtain a full refund, the goods must be returned in an “as new” condition with all components included in their original packaging. “As new” condition is defined as unridden. Returns - Damages & Faulty We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@ecobikecompany.com so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf. If your bike develops a fault through normal use (as outlined in the manufacturer's manual) you could be entitled to a repair or replacement as covered with the warranty. Please send through details of the fault to info@ecobikecompany.com and we will arrange the repair or replacement with the manufacturer. Please note –  any fault caused due to misuse of the bike is not covered by this policy. Please ensure you read the manufacturer's manual in detail before using your electric bike to avoid voiding your warranty.

Quality Bike

Bike arrived well packaged. Was easy to assemble following the instructions. I decided to go for the bigger battery to cut down on charging frequency and to get further on my rides. So far so good.

Ampere x trail bike

I purchased an Ampere x trail bike from eco bike company through cycle scheme .
They were absolutely fantastic with the help and getting everything sorted for me ,the bike was delivered a day after my order went through , after I recived my bike they sent me emails to links for helping put the bike together and any other help I required, the bike itself is very nice to ride, the electric motor activates after one rotation of the pedals, absolutely love this bike i highly recommend it thanks for eco bike company for sorting this for me

I%27ve+had+my+bike+for+2+weeks+and+it+runs+smoothly+with+no+problems%2C+would+highly+recommend+it.+It+has+all+the+holes+drilled+to+fit+a+back+rack+but+unfortunately+there+was+no+information+which+rack+will+fit+ampere+still+trying+to+find+one.+

Fantastic Bike

First of all the Eco Bike Company are brilliant, very helpful and honest, this is my first E-bike, infact first bike I've owned in years.
The Ampere X-Trail is fantastic, looks great and is a joy to cycle, even without using the motor, but when it comes to using the PAS it's amazing, going up a hill is soooooo easy.
Only time will really tell how good this bike is but that's the same for any bike.
But if your think about buying an E-Bike I highly recommend using Eco Bike Company and if you haven't got a massive budget, the Ampere X-Trail is a class purchase.

What can I say? Received my Ampere X-Trail Electric Mountain Bike last week and built it myself. Jarred gave me the best advice as I’m 6’6’ I am now riding a 21’ frame on 29’ wheels. It’s awesome and far superior to what’s out there @ a very reasonable price too, a lot for your money. Thanks Eco-bike Company, mega!! 😍

Received bike quickly and it was easy to assemble had ordered a throttle and it wasnt in the order but 1 phone call and it was quickly resolved .thanks to team for that. The bike looks amazing only been out the once it was great but will review again in a few months time.but everything so far been amazing.5 stars
