The Ampere Hilux Crossbar Electric Bike, a powerful and versatile e-bike designed for exceptional performance and convenience. With its powerful 65Nm motor, you can experience unrivalled power with just the push of a button. Weighing only 22KGs including the battery, this bike offers a lightweight and agile ride.

The modern design features an integrated battery, available in 10Ah or 14Ah options, providing a long-lasting range of up to 40 miles with the 10Ah battery and 55 miles with the 14Ah battery. The low step frame makes mounting the bike easy for anyone with restricted mobility.

Equipped with ultra-responsive hydraulic disc brakes, you can enjoy maximum control and safety on your rides. The central mounted LCD display allows for easy monitoring of your speed, distance, and battery level. The 700x45C puncture-resistant tyres provide peace of mind and a smooth ride.

How is the frame size measured?

Most E-bikes are measured from the centre of the crank to the base of the seat post tube. However, some E-bike manufacturers may measure their bikes differently depending on their style.

Assembly
Ampere bikes come 85% assembled, this is to ensure the bike is safely transported to you. To complete assembly the handlebars need to be attached, the front wheel (& mudguard) need to be attached with the quick release, and the pedals need to be screwed on. If you have any questions please do reach out, we're happy to send a manual ahead of delivery for you to familiarise yourself with what's required for assembly. All tools are included with the bike.
Delivery and Returns
FREE NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS. Cancelling your order: If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@ecobikecompany.com or on 0333 050 3189. Please include your order number when contacting us. If your order has not yet left the manufacturer's warehouse, we should be able to stop it shipping, and issue you a refund immediately. Please note –  when returning a product, it must be returned in ‘as new’ condition, with all components included, in their original packaging. There will be a charge for the return. Returns - Changed your mind If you change your mind after buying from us and want a refund, you have up to 14 days to let us know and have the goods returned to us. You will need to return the product to us before we can provide a refund. Eco Bike Co. can help arrange the return for a charge of £50 - a courier will be sent to pick it up from you & return it to the manufacturer.   Please note –  the 14 days return period is to allow you to examine the goods as you would in a shop. To obtain a full refund, the goods must be returned in an “as new” condition with all components included in their original packaging. “As new” condition is defined as unridden. Returns - Damages & Faulty We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@ecobikecompany.com so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf. If your bike develops a fault through normal use (as outlined in the manufacturer's manual) you could be entitled to a repair or replacement as covered with the warranty. Please send through details of the fault to info@ecobikecompany.com and we will arrange the repair or replacement with the manufacturer. Please note –  any fault caused due to misuse of the bike is not covered by this policy. First Impressions

Some initial problems in assembling the bike which were due to poor build quality or lack of pre delivery inspection. The cable for the derailleur was not properly located in the clamp, it was lying across the clamp rather than being properly in it. The rear tyre had not been properly located on to the wheel rim so consequently the tyre and inner tube suddenly escaped from the wheel when inflation reached about 2 bar. Fortunately, I was able to restore the tyre and tube to the wheel and successfully inflated the tyre to 3.5 bar without further problem. Use of the bike has been limited because of holidays and opportunity but the riding experience has been good. I have added a dropper seat which is a massive benefit when you have cranky knees!!

Happy days

Delivery on time, assembly easily done but lack of detailed information. Have problems with the electric drive but staff at Eco bikes company have worked through the issue with drive and hopefully will send items to fully complete repair.
