Ampere’s Mode Folding Electric Bike combines convenience and comfort in one.

With a 13” folding frame weighing only 21kg this practical e-bike doesn’t just fit in your car - but also your schedule.

With Zoom suspension forks and a premium saddle, expect a comfortable and stable ride. Despite its size, the Mode Folding Electric Bike features a powerful 250W motor offering 65Nm of torque. Never be late again!

The 10.5AH 36V Lithium-ion will take you up to 40 miles per charge.

Ampere’s Smart Battery Management System (BMS) means your e-bike battery’s voltage, temperature and charge level will be continuously managed to better protect it. What’s more, the smart 2Ah battery charger gives you a full recharge in just 6 hours.

The Mode Folding e-bike also features a helpful high-spec LCD screen (with a USB charging point) and offers a walk assist feature.

Please note – under current UK law bikes fitted with Thumb Throttles are illegal to use on public land, these are only to be used on private land.

 

 

How is the frame size measured?

Most E-bikes are measured from the centre of the crank to the base of the seat post tube. However, some E-bike manufacturers may measure their bikes differently depending on their style.

FREE NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS. Cancelling your order: If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@ecobikecompany.com or on 0333 050 3189. Please include your order number when contacting us. If your order has not yet left the manufacturer's warehouse, we should be able to stop it shipping, and issue you a refund immediately. Please note –  when returning a product, it must be returned in ‘as new’ condition, with all components included, in their original packaging. There will be a charge for the return. Returns - Changed your mind If you change your mind after buying from us and want a refund, you have up to 14 days to let us know and have the goods returned to us. You will need to return the product to us before we can provide a refund. Eco Bike Co. can help arrange the return for a charge of £50 - a courier will be sent to pick it up from you & return it to the manufacturer.   Please note –  the 14 days return period is to allow you to examine the goods as you would in a shop. To obtain a full refund, the goods must be returned in an “as new” condition with all components included in their original packaging. “As new” condition is defined as unridden. Returns - Damages & Faulty We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. Qualities of the service and the bike were very high. Bike feels heavy but it is normal for a this kind of bike.

Ampere Folding Bike

Really happy with the condition the bike came in, it had 600m on the clock which was fantastic. The bike seems very sturdy and all the accessories that came attached are great, and I am really happy with the bike.

However, the bike is not designed to be portable. When initially bought I planned to carry on and off public transport where needed. Unfortunately there is no way of smartly folding the bike up. Ampere have failed include locking mechanisms to keep the bike still when folded, making carrying it quite awkward. Also, the 60km range is a very optimistic distance. I found it died after 40km even though I put in a lot of effort! I do a lot of cycling anyway and was planning to use this on alternate days to stop me driving when I tired. If you plan to go on ride longer than 20miles, this is not the bike for you. In saying this, my girlfriend loves using it to coast around town while I use my push bike, something she's never enjoyed doing before. So, if you just want a bike for short rides and something that folds into a car, this might be just what you are looking for.
